Research & model scope

What this model can help you notice

Meaningful political competition can coexist with serious incumbent abuse. A public official’s intention is different from an organization’s implemented resource decision. Resources and speaking opportunity do not reveal votes. Changing one venue rule identifies a narrow direct effect while other arrangements are held fixed.

What remains open

The organizations’ practical room to act tonight is a supplied fictional condition. It does not establish weak state bureaucracy, unreliable coercion or ruling-party fragmentation. Private ownership does not always guarantee practical autonomy. One venue rule cannot classify a national regime, and shared access does not remove Lydora’s other inequalities. There is no simulated election result.

The game primes questions before reading; it does not reproduce the assigned article’s full explanation of authoritarian resilience, classify fear and spin dictators, or imply an inevitable path toward democracy.

Artwork and testing

The cover was created with AI image generation under Yoav Duman’s creative direction. It is conceptual political poster art, not a historical photograph or evidence of an actual country. Its two-stage prompt is supplied in the teaching pack.

AI-simulated faculty and learner reviews informed clarity revisions. They are not human faculty consultation or student pilots. Automated tests check mechanics, data integrity and interface logic. They do not establish learning gains, completion time or browser layout quality. Use a classroom pilot to check pacing and interpretation.
