Using this site
The hub provides keyboard-accessible controls, visible focus indicators, text alternatives for informative images, responsive layouts and reduced-motion support. Artwork is supplementary: titles, teaching information and actions remain real text.
Using the activities
The simulations have different interfaces and accessibility features. Read the activity’s guide, allow additional time when needed and check report previews before submission. Longer comparisons and written work may be easier on a larger screen. This collection has not yet completed a full independent accessibility audit.
An alternative way to participate
Instructors can offer an equivalent evidence-and-reasoning task when a particular interaction presents a barrier. Use the same case records and learning goals; assess the explanation rather than speed or interface handling. In The Shared Country, a group can designate a recorder while all members participate in discussion.
Report a barrier
Use the creator’s contact page and include the activity title, device/browser and the step that was difficult. Do not include student identifying information. A specific description helps us make a useful repair.
